AAH Pharmaceuticals becomes Bristol-Myers Squibb wholesale partner

13th July 2009

AAH Pharmaceuticals has announced a partnership with Bristol-Myers Squibb, which will see the two organisations become wholesaling partners.

In a statement, AAH Pharmaceuticals explained that the deal will come into effect from August 1st and apply to England, Scotland and Wales, with distribution arrangements in Northern Ireland remaining unchanged.

Commenting on the move, Mark James, group managing director at AAH Pharmaceuticals, said he was pleased that Bristol-Myers Squibb chose the firm to become one of its partners.

“This decision reflects our ability to work in partnership with manufacturers to design distribution solutions which best meet their needs and those of dispensing customers,” he added.

Richard Marsh, Bristol-Myers Squibb’s director of external affairs and market access, noted that the partnership will allow the firm to create a more efficient supply chain for its products.

Earlier this month, AAH Pharmaceuticals announced that David Rollinson has been appointed as the firm’s new sales director.
