Ketchum launches new CEO Accelerator programme

Ketchum has announced the availability of a new corporate launch facility, the CEO Accelerator, which the firm claims will help organisations position their chief executives for a successful career.

It is also designed to protect the "financial and reputational investment" companies make in their new heads, Ketchum adds.

The product is based on 12 basic leadership principles, including creating leadership behaviours that correlate with an organisation’s communication culture, avoiding the use of corporate-speak and utilising early actions to signal the CEO’s strategy or leadership style.

"With stakeholders demanding greater transparency, CEOs today live in a ‘no excuses’ world where near flawless performance – including how they communicate – is expected from day one," explained Raymond Kotcher, senior partner and chief executive of Ketchum.

In July, Ketchum revealed that it had elected six new partners to its management team, half of which would be based in the UK, following its decision to merge with Pleon.
