Cannon Hygiene to attend Dentistry Show in Birmingham

Cannon Hygiene has announced plans to demonstrate a number of new waste disposal products at the forthcoming Dentistry Show in Birmingham.

The healthcare company will attend the event on March 4th and 5th 2011 in order to showcase a range of its offerings for the oral care market, including amalgam x-ray, clinical and sharps waste disposal services.

Taking place in Birmingham's National Exhibition Centre, the Dentistry Show is a clinical and business conference where industry professionals can view the latest innovations in the field.

A statement from the company said: "Cannon can be relied upon to ensure that dental waste disposal complies with the very latest legal requirements and government guidance."

In October 2010, Cannon Hygiene entered into a partnership with Genesis Biosciences for the exclusive use of the germicide Activap in Cannon's feminine hygiene units.

The agent has been shown in clinical tests to eradicate 99.999 percent of potentially harmful bacteria, as well as outperform numerous competing germicides.
