Baxter elects two new corporate officers

16th February 2011

Baxter has announced the appointment of Paul Martin and Wolf Kupatt as corporate officers.

The pharmaceutical firm's board of directors has elected the two men as officers of the company in order to benefit from their proven industry expertise.

Mr Martin, Baxter's chief information officer, joined the organisation earlier this year from UK packaging manufacturer Rexam, where he served in a variety of key senior management roles over an 11-year career.

Meanwhile, the firm's president of Latin America and Canada Mr Kupatt is a former Bristol-Myers Squibb staff member and was previously employed as general manager for Baxter's German operations.

Robert Parkinson Jr, Baxter's chairman and chief executive officer, said: "Paul and Wolf both bring extensive global experience, keen expertise in their respective fields and outstanding leadership capabilities to our executive team."

Last month, the company published its 2010 financial results, reporting a two percent growth in sales compared to its 2009 performance.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-800407957-ADNFCR
