BCF Technology sponsors VICAS conference

BCF Technology has hailed the success of the recent Veterinary Ireland Companion Animal Society (VICAS) winter conference, an event sponsored by the company.

Staff from the firm attended the three-day symposium in Dublin to provide support for the conference's wet lab, which was used to display and demonstrate a variety of ultrasound scanning innovations.

Nine units were supplied by BCF to allow delegates to gain hands-on practical experience with the machines, with the company's vet Kimberly Palgrave on hand to provide tutelage.

Around 40 attendees visited the wet lab during the conference, with the M5 unit winning particular praise for its high image quality and clarity.

Ms Palgrave said: "The lectures and practical sessions were very educational for both first-time ultrasound users and those individuals wanting a refresher course."

Last month, the company announced the opening of a new service centre in Dundalk, which will allow BCF to better serve the Irish market.
