Dentsply launches Ceram.X Global Case Contest for 2011-12
Dentsply is calling for UK entries for its Ceram.X Global Case Contest, which is being conducted once again in 2011-12.
The competition challenges dental students with the opportunity to demonstrate their skills in restorations using Dentsply's nano-ceramic composites Ceram.X Duo and Ceram.X Mono, reports Dentistry.co.uk.
UK students wising to participate must present their case using a poster template supplied by Dentsply, which utilises before and after photographs and a description of each stage of the procedure.
The deadline for UK entries is February 28th 2012, with a judging panel to select the overall winning case from the country before putting it forward for the world final.
Prizes will be allocated to participants who perform strongly, who will also receive the prestige of competing in a global competition.
Last month, the company announced its financial report for the second quarter of 2011, during which it saw a 7.8 percent year-on-year sales increase.
