Simplyhealth wins Investment Life and Pensions Moneyfacts award

Simplyhealth has won the accolade of best health cash plan provider at the 2011 Investment Life and Pensions Moneyfacts awards.

The organisation, which supplies cash plans for dental and general health needs, was selected over the likes of Bupa, Health Shield, Medicash and WPA to claim the award, recognising its excellence in the last 12 months.

Selections were based on a combination of analytical evidence from Investment Life and Pensions researchers and the opinions of independent financial advisors, many of whom work with Simplyhealth on a daily basis.

Howard Hughes, spokesperson for Simplyhealth, expressed delight on this positive endorsement of its product range and customer service offering.

"We strive to provide personal customer service, whether that's to an individual purchasing a cash plan to cover their family or a large company providing cash plans as an employee benefit," he added.

This comes after the firm conducted research last month showing that private health offerings are becoming an increasingly important part of service provision in the UK.
