Future Science Group launches Colorectal Cancer medical journal
Future Science Group has announced the launch of Colorectal Cancer, a new bimonthly medical journal concerning the latest developments in this field of oncology.
Published by its Future Medicine brand, the journal highlights new research findings, advances in clinical practice and translation elements of new studies, incorporating the expertise of scientists from around the world.
Professor Heinz-Josef Lenz of the University of Southern California is acting as senior editor of the peer-reviewed publication, which incorporates topics from prevention through to follow-up care for survivors.
The launch of Colorectal Cancer comes as the eponymous disease becomes a growing cause of morbidity and mortality, particularly in developed nations, where obesity rates are rising and the population is ageing.
Elisa Manzotti, editorial director at the Future Science Group, said: "We are delighted to be working with Professor Lenz to create a new, highly-focused resource for all physicians and healthcare practitioners who are striving to provide the best possible evidence-based care for patients."
Last month, the publisher relaunched its journal Therapy under the new name Clinical Practice, as well as giving it a new look and content.
