Johnson and Johnson announces global creative review

Health and personal care giant Johnson and Johnson is carrying out a review of its global creative operations as it aims to improve the efficiency of its corporate communications.

The company, which spent $2.6 billion (1.7 billion pounds) on worldwide advertising in 2011, controls one of the biggest accounts in the marketing industry and currently works with a wide variety of communications partners.

Agencies such as DDB, BBDO, WT, Razorfish, AKQA and Lowe all work to promote various Johnson and Johnson brands, which include big names such as Listerine, Nicorette and Neutrogena.

A statement from the company said: "Johnson and Johnson is conducting a global agency review and consolidation to build greater value and deliver innovative and fully integrated solutions for our consumer brands."
