Cook Group’s K-Tube Technologies announces new partnerships

Cook Group has announced that its subsidiary K-Tube Technologies has agreed a pair of strategic alliances in the US and Europe.

The leading miniature stainless steel tubing manufacturer will be working with Medical Engineering Resources (MER) in the EU and Medical Metals in the US, bringing improved sales support and technical knowledge to customers.

Through this arrangement, K-Tube products will be distributed in every EU country for the first time ever, while the brand's presence in US regions such as New England, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland and Delaware will also be expanded.

K-Tube customers in the medical device engineering, design and manufacturing sectors can therefore expect to benefit from direct interaction with locally-based affiliates.

Greg May, president of K-Tube Technologies, said: "We've been focused on how we can give our customers more support. We wanted more than technical expertise. We wanted partners that share our core values. Both Medical Metals and MER-Europe were the right fit."

This comes after the Cook Medical business announced the opening of a new distribution centre in Baesweiler, Germany earlier this month.
