Unilever appoints new UK communications head
Unilever has announced the appointment of Charlotte Carroll as its new UK and Ireland communications director.
Ms Carroll previously served as the company's communications manager between 2001 and 2006 and has held the position of interim UK change communications director for the past two years.
She will take up her new role on January 1st 2013 and succeeds Helene Bradley-Ritt, who has left the company after a nine-year spell in order to spend more time with her family.
The newly-appointed director will leverage her experience in the fields of corporate affairs, PR, internal communications and employee engagement to push forward campaigns such as the company's celebrated Sustainable Living Plan.
Ms Carroll said: "It’s a real privilege to return to Unilever because it is a great place to work and it’s an organisation I love and feel proud to belong to."
This comes after the firm appointed Noel Clarke as the brand building director for its ice cream business in the UK and Ireland last month.
