EE consolidates PR agency support under Nelson Bostock
EE has extended its partnership with Nelson Bostock and ended its relationship with GolinHarris following a review of its UK agency support.
The company, which unified its Orange and T-Mobile brands under the new EE banner last year, has chosen to consolidate its press office agency support under Nelson Bostock, while M&C PR has been appointed to oversee EE's business-to-business PR programme, reports PRWeek.
These new contracts have been handed out based on the two agencies' successful work in handling the EE rebranding and the launch of its 4G services over the last few months.
Meanwhile, GolinHarris and EE have paid tribute to each other after choosing to end their partnership, with GolinHarris having worked on the Orange account for six years.
Mat Sears, head of PR and corporate communications at EE, said: "We'd like to thank GolinHarris for their exceptional work over the last six years and wish them well for the future."
This comes after a busy period of marketing for EE, which is currently running a series of multimillion-pound adverts starring Hollywood actor Kevin Bacon.
