Simplyhealth launches new company paid health plan
Simplyhealth has announced the introduction of a new cash plan for the corporate market in the UK.
The plan will allow companies to offer employees additional health and dental care benefits, including a primary care module, free child cover, discounted gym membership, online health risk assessments and a dental accident benefit.
In addition to the core provisions, client companies will also be able to choose from a number of extra options, including employee assistance and absence management programmes and PMI excess cover.
Currently, around 20,000 businesses use Simplyhealth as their healthcare provider, including major brands such as John Lewis, Tesco, Royal Mail and British Airways.
Howard Hughes, head of employer marketing at Simplyhealth, said: "Our new plan will help organisations to deliver a healthcare package to employees that is both relevant and useful, from as little as five pounds per employee per month."
This week, the company also announced that it has been shortlisted for two awards by the Institute of Customer Service for its 2013 UK Customer Satisfaction Awards, which will take place in February.
