PRCA expands global capabilities with ICCO management agreement

8th January 2013

The Public Relations Consultants Association (PRCA) has announced that it has taken over management responsibility for the International Communications Consultancy Organisation (ICCO), the global PR industry body.

For the next three years, the PRCA will provide the London-based secretariat for the ICCO, which represents marketing professionals through a network of 28 national associations.

As part of this move, former PRCA communications and external affairs executive Anastasia Demidova will become ICCO's general manager, while PRCA director-general Francis Ingham will take on additional responsibilities as ICCO executive director.

The team will aim to improve ICCO services through the expansion of training offers, its international referral service, global events and partnerships.

Mr Ingham said: "Through our management of ICCO, we will literally open up a world of contacts and potential affiliates for our UK members and for the 1,500 members of the 27 other national organisations in ICCO."

Earlier this month, the PRCA launched a sale on training courses running through January 2013, as part of a wider commitment to professional development in 2013.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-801518470-ADNFCR
