Virgo Health and GolinHarris launch digital healthcare offering

Virgo Health and GolinHarris have announced the launch of a new global healthcare agency called Go Digital Health, which will combine the capabilities of both organisations.

Go Digital Health's practice consists of an in-house team of 25 strategists and planners, art directors, designers, HTML/Flash authors, programmers, videographers, community managers and writers.

The team will leverage the digital expertise of GolinHarris' Architect team and the healthcare experience of Virgo Health, delivering key insights at a time when pharmaceutical and medical companies are increasing their investments in digital and online platforms.

Emily Brooks, practice lead at Go Digital Health, said: "We are no doubt seeing a boom in consumer engagement in digital health but as consumers become more accustomed to digital, they will demand more customisation."

This comes after Virgo Health became part of the GolinHarris group in July 2012, with the companies stating at the time that the launch of Go Digital Health would be the first of a number of joint ventures moving forwards.
