Former Nelson Bostock MD launches consultancy

Former managing director of Nelson Bostock Simon Glazer has launched a new consultancy focused on startup and mid-sized technology and B2B brands.

PR Week reports that the new company has been christened Elate Communications and has so far signed up three undisclosed clients.

A little information has been revealed as to these pioneer accounts, with one being a technology firm headquartered in Silicon Valley, California.

Elate is currently based in Hertfordshire, but Mr Glazer has his sights set on London.

The managing director left Nelson Bostock last year and was replaced by group chief executive officer Lee Nugent, with the support of deputy managing director Nick Clark.

Mr Glazer is a former chairman of the PRCA Technology Group and has held senior roles at WPP firms Blanc & Otus and Hill+Knowlton Strategies.

Last week, Nelson Bostock attended the SocialSuccess Mic-Up event hosted by salesforce.com – a gathering focused on the social aspect of the market as well as predictions for the coming year.
