Horiba Scientific launches Delta Series fluorescence spectroscopy systems

Horiba Scientific has announced the launch of the Delta Series of fluorescence spectroscopy systems, which aim to offer speed and efficiency benefits over currently available options.

The newest generation of Horiba time-correlated single photon counting fluorescence lifetime systems feature advanced controllers, a wide array of sources and lifetime ranges and unprecedented levels of configurability.

Performance advantages will be provided by DeltaPro, an affordable and simple filter-based lifetime system, as well as the modular DeltaFlex technology for integrating excitation and emission monochromators.

The new product offering is designed to provide fast performance and ease of use at an affordable price point.

Ishai Nir, director of fluorescence for Horiba Scientific, said: "These new systems will make the power of fluorescence lifetime available to any lab while addressing the needs of even hardcore users."

This comes after the firm recently unveiled Uvisel 2, a new scientific spectroscopic ellipsometer system for thin film applications.
