Havas PR appoints new healthcare lead

Havas PR has bolstered its health and wellbeing team with the appointment of Louise Stone in a directorial role.

Ms Stone is a healthcare consultant with almost two decades of PR agency experience, including spells with agencies such as Lexis PR, Nexus Communications and Good Relations, reports Gorkana.

Reporting to Havas PR London's managing director Steve Marinker, she will be tasked with providing senior client consultancy and generating new business in this sector, which has typically been characterised by a slow takeup of digital and social communication initiatives.

Ms Stone said: "Working as an integrated team at Havas means that we can offer clients the reassurance that we are using the right channel to deliver measurable results and affect behaviour or have a positive impact on sales."

Havas PR is part of the Havas Worldwide group and serves a number of healthcare-related organisations, including Ceva and Ovarian Cancer Action, as well as other leading brands such as Debenhams, Asda and Greggs.
