Harvard PR to support Data City Exchange expansion efforts
Harvard PR has been appointed to deliver a full-service PR programme on behalf of Data City Exchange (DCE).
The new marketing campaign will target both the core technology press and the national media, coinciding with the launch of several new data centres across the UK, commencing with a flagship 60 million pound facility in Birmingham this month, reports PRWeek.
Harvard PR won the account following a competitive three-way pitch, with DCE acknowledging the benefits the agency's technology credentials and strategic capabilities will provide at a crucial time in DCE's development.
Over the coming months, DCE also plans to open data centres in Belfast, Newcastle, the Wirral, Bristol, Glasgow, Milton Keynes, Derby and Hull.
Louie St Claire, Harvard's managing director, said the agency will provide DCE with "a targeted, issues-led PR programme that grows with the company".
This comes after Harvard PR appointed technology sector experts Lance Concannon and Chris Ewens to key roles within its UK senior management team last month.
