Actelion nominates Hill-Rom chief as board member
Actelion has announced that John Greisch has been nominated as a new member of its board of directors ahead of its forthcoming annual general meeting (AGM).
Mr Greisch, the current president and chief executive officer of medical technology firm Hill-Rom, has been chosen due to his industry experience and strong understanding of the challenges facing companies in this sector.
Jean-Pierre Garnier, chairman of the board of directors at Actelion, said: "I believe John's strong track record of success in the healthcare industry will add significant practical business acumen to Actelion's board."
The company will vote on the election of Mr Greisch to the board at the AGM in Switzerland on April 18th 2013, as well as the re-elections of Werner Henrich, Armin Kessler and Jean Malo.
