Ansell to appoint new chief financial officer

Ansell has announced that it will be seeking a new chief financial officer following the departure of Rustom Jilla from the position after 11 years with the company.

Mr Jilla, who joined Ansell in 2002, has resigned from his post in order to take up another opportunity elsewhere, with Francois Le Jeune, head of finance and business development for Ansell's industrial division, set to fill the role on an interim basis.

A global search for a permanent successor has now been initiated, with a detailed transition schedule to be confirmed in the coming weeks.

Ansell's chief executive officer Magnus Nicolin said: "Rustom has been a terrific leader and has guided Ansell through many challenges and to many successes over the last 11 years. I have greatly appreciated Rustom's support over the last three years."

Last month, the company announced its financial results for the first six months of its 2013 business year, during which it achieved year-on-year sales growth of six percent.
