Ivoclar Vivadent and Camlog agree new collaboration
Ivoclar Vivadent has announced that it will be collaborating with fellow dental technology firm Camlog in a partnership that will increase compatibility between the companies' products.
The alliance will allow Camlog to optimally integrate the all-ceramic materials of Ivoclar Vivadent into the range of services offered by its new digital prosthetics division Dedicam.
Moreover, Camlog will be able to utilise Ivoclar Vivadent's high-quality Telio CAD composite material in the production of a wide range of temporary restorations, meaning more patients will be able to benefit from high-quality, long-lasting products.
This alliance comes as part of Ivoclar Vivadent's Authorised Milling Partner programme, through which the company offers other companies guidance on the use of its CAD/CAM materials.
Robert Ganley, chief executive officer of Ivoclar Vivadent, said: "The collaboration with Camlog presents an ideal combination of knowhow in implant dentistry and restorative dentistry to provide comprehensive solutions in the digital process chain."
Earlier this month, the company announced that it achieved a four percent year-on-year increase in global sales revenues during 2012.
