Berkeley PR appoints new senior account director

Berkeley PR has bolstered its senior account director team with the appointment of ex-Whiteoaks board member Louise Burke.

The recruitment of tech PR specialist Ms Burke represents part of Berkeley PR's drive to expand its group of senior, experienced professionals.

She has more than 20 years' worth of experience in the industry and will play a crucial part of the group's international campaign co-ordination.

The expert – who set up Zapp Communications after leaving Whiteoaks in 2006 – has worked for various household name brands in the tech PR sector, including Xerox, Autodesk and Tektronik and said she believes her skillset is ideally suited to Berkeley's requirements.

"Berkeley PR's primary focus on storytelling matches perfectly my approach to executing excellent PR campaigns," she noted.

Ms Burke will report to Berkeley director Paul Stallard, who expressed his delight at the appointment.

"[Louise] is the kind of PR professional you don't want working for anyone but your company," he noted.
