Heraeus announces board of management transition
Heraeus has announced a board of management transition is set to take place as a result of chairman of the board Dr Frank Heinricht revealed he is to leave the company.
Dr Heinricht's designated successor is Jan Rinnert, the current vice-chairman of the board of management.
A member of the board since 2007, Mr Rinnert has served as chief financial officer of the group and first joined the organisation in 2004.
An official decision on the matter is set to be made at the March 5th meeting of the Heraeus Supervisory Board.
Dr Jurgen Heraeus, chairman of the supervisory board, said: "We would like to thank Dr Heinricht for his outstanding work and dedication. He has played an essential role in the group's success over the past few years."
It was revealed that Dr Heinricht – who is to become chairman of the board of management of Schott AG – will remain in contact with the business in a cordial manner.
