Walbrook PR wins Healthcare Investment Opportunities brief

Walbrook PR has won a brief with the new business venture Healthcare Investment Opportunities, which is seeking admission to the Alternative Investment Market (AIM).

The agency has been tasked with managing communications with financial media outlets, research analysts and investors as Healthcare Investment Opportunities looks to raise four million pounds to support its growth efforts, reports Gorkana.

Using this money, the company will purchase health-oriented companies that are revenue-generating or close to being so, with the first acquisition expected to be a reverse takeover.

Healthcare Investment Opportunities is run by David Evans, the former chair of the Manchester-based diagnostics firm DxS and current chairman of the AIM-listed life sciences business Epistem.

Walbrook PR is a leading UK financial PR and investor relations consultancy that serves a number of healthcare companies, including Animalcare, Eden Research, EKF Diagnostics and Xenetic Biosciences.

The agency strengthened its life science sector offering with the recent appointment of senior associates Mike Wort and Anna Dunphy, both of whom have experience of working in the pharmaceutical industry.
