Petplan provides donation to RSPCA East Norfolk

Petplan is supporting the work carried out by the East Norfolk branch of the RSPCA with a cash donation.

The insurance company has provided 500 pounds to the animal health charity following its monthly prize draw and will be used to help care for and rehome animals that have been neglected, mistreated or are no longer wanted, reports VetClick.

RSPCA East Norfolk branch manager said the funding will be spent on veterinary treatments for the animals it houses, while also noting that the organisation would not be able to continue its work without donations like these.

Isabella von Mesterhazy, head of marketing at Petplan, said: "We are pleased to be able to provide this donation to RSPCA East Norfolk, they do a fantastic job caring for animals in the community."

Petplan is an Allianz Insurance division and is the most popular pet insurance brand in the UK, having originally been established in 1976.
