Zeno Group hires new healthcare head

Zeno Group has announced that it has recruited Rachel Vrettos to head up its healthcare practice as it seeks to expand its European market presence.

Ms Vrettos joins the company from Red Door Communications, where she worked with clients such as GlaxoSmithKline, Sanofi Pasteur MSD and Bayer Schering Pharma on a variety of allergy, cardiology, dental and diabetes healthcare campaigns.

She will be responsible for serving Zeno's existing client base while also driving growth within the healthcare division, which serves global organisations operating in the consumer health industry.

He added: "She brings consumer thinking to the brand communication challenges of the pharmaceutical sector and the global perspective of ethical programmes to sensitive consumer issues."

This comes at a time when Zeno is making strong efforts to expand its UK team, having appointed Katie Taylor as a consumer director last month.

A subsidiary of the Edelman group, the agency's client roster includes firms such as Welch Allyn, AstraZeneca and Bausch and Lomb.
