Sandoz development head recognised as influential industry leader

Sandoz has welcomed news that Mark McCamish, its head of global biopharmaceutical development, has been named as one of the top 50 antibody industry influencers in the world.

Mr McCamish was voted in at number 12 in the list at the 2013 European Antibody Congress, ahead of many other accomplished researchers, scientists, academics and business leaders.

The list was compiled following an international survey that sought to create a ranking of key figures in the industry in terms of their accomplishments, discoveries, research efforts, innovative thinking, lifetime dedication and inspirational personalities.

Sandoz offered its congratulations to Mr McCamish, who has been with the company since July 2009 and has previously been employed by major companies such as Facet Biotech, Amgen and Abbott.

This achievement also reflects positively on Sandoz, which currently ranks as the second-largest generic pharmaceuticals company in the world, offering a range of around 1,000 off-label products globally.
