Rumpus PR wins brief with cancer charity KidsCan
Rumpus PR has won a new awareness-raising brief with KidsCan, a children's cancer research charity based in Salford that marks its tenth anniversary this year.
The agency has been tasked with developing a strategy for a year-long programme of communications that will raise the profile of the organisation on a national level, thus making it easier to raise funds for its research efforts.
Over the spring, Rumpus PR will launch a project involving contributions from celebrity supporters and a renowned nutritional biochemist.
Such initiatives are important for not-for-profit organisations such as KidsCan, as they generally rely solely on the support of businesses and the public in order to function.
The charity's fundraising manager Holly Bond said: "Rumpus PR has shown a commitment to our cause and understands intrinsically how a strong communications strategy can help to achieve our ambitious aims for 2013."
This comes after the media agency was also recently handed a brief by Key Healthcare, a prominent specialist care provider in the UK.
