Lewis PR announces Davies Murphy Group takeover

12th June 2013

Lewis PR has agreed a deal to purchase the Davies Murphy Group (DMG), a US-based PR and marketing consultancy with offices in the UK and Germany.

DMG is headquartered in Boston and serves more than 45 top-tier clients – from early-stage startups to some of the world's largest technology firms – with the organisation now set to become a wholly owned division of Lewis PR.

The deal closed on May 31st and will greatly expand Lewis PR's global reach, bringing its worldwide revenue capabilities to more than $45 million (28.73 million pounds).

Eric Davies and Andy Murphy, the founders of DMG, will continue to lead the 65-strong agency under its original name.

Chris Lewis, chief executive officer of Lewis PR, said: "This is the third acquisition Lewis has made in the last five years and we're proud to welcome the DMG team."

Lewis PR serves a wide variety of tech sector clients worldwide, including the likes of Siemens, Hotels.com, NEC, Solarflare Communications and Progress Software.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-801598030-ADNFCR
