Protexin appoints new marketing team members

Protexin has announced the appointment of Lauren Lemmer and Genevieve Raw-Rees to positions on its marketing team.

The pair have been hired to create new advertising strategies that will help to develop the popularity of the company's various brands, including its well-known Protexin veterinary probiotic range.

Veterinary marketing manager Kate Rouse said: “The new marketing team will be working closely with territory managers to further develop the valued relationship we have with practices."

Ms Lemmer and Ms Raw-Rees are two of five staff members that have recently been hired to fill newly-created roles within Protexin, thereby expanding its total workforce to 88 people.

Now in its 21st year, the business is experiencing year-on-year growth and international success, while earlier this year it was named one of the best companies to work for in 2013.

Protexin was also recently nominated for the best business prize in this year's Western Gazette Business of the Year Awards.
