Norgine and Altacor agree Clinitas alliance for UK

Norgine and Altacor have announced a new agreement that will see them allying on the promotion of the dry eye therapy Clinitas in the UK.

The deal will see Norgine promoting the preservative-free high-performance eyedrop through its primary care sales teams, thereby complementing the work of Altacor's own hospital-focused team.

It is hoped that this alliance will raise awareness of the product among staff in the medical community who are responsible for the continuity of patient care via follow-on prescribing from hospital recommendation.

Altacor believes the deal will also provide it with a stronger overall commercial platform in the UK and help it to identify new strategic opportunities to leverage Norgine's pan-European commercial infrastructure.
