Havas Lynx launches medical education/scientific exchange agency

Havas Lynx Medical has announced the launch of Havas Lynx Medical, its new medical education and scientific exchange agency.

The agency will exploit both traditional and new methodologies to help provide education to health professionals, while also facilitating the clear exchange of scientific information between the clinical and pharmaceutical communities.

Dr Nick Broughton has been appointed as medical director and will lead the development of the new agency, leveraging his 17 years of pharmaceutical industry experience within the clinical research, medical affairs and regulatory affairs fields.

He will continue to serve as a director of Pharmaceuticalethics.com, in addition to his work at Havas Lynx Medical.

David Hunt, chief executive officer of Havas Lynx, said: "We recognised very early on that medical education is a very competitive arena and that if we couldn't offer something new, we shouldn't enter it."
