Dechra’s Time to Change scheme proves successful at VetsNorth

23rd July 2013

Dechra has highlighted the success of its recent activities at the recent VetsNorth industry event in Manchester, which took place at the end of last month.

During the conference, the company was able to generate significant interest in the case studies and otitis support kits it has developed as part of its antimicrobial resistance awareness campaign Time to Change.

The studies focused on skin-related conditions such as ventral pyoderma, pedal pruritus and facial pruritus and formed part of Dechra's Itch Support Kit, which also includes a best practice pruritus case management chart.

Additionally, the firm's best practice case management posters proved extremely popular, while vets also showed an interest in the support materials for Dechra's canine heart failure therapy Cardisure.

Senior brand manager Roger Brown said: "VetsNorth is always a popular event and we were delighted to be able to support it through the sponsorship of the dermatology sessions and workshops."

Time to Change was developed to help vets diagnose organisms associated with skin and ear disease and choose the correct approach to control, as well as to assist in educating owners to apply and use topical antibiotic treatments correctly.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-801615908-ADNFCR
