CryoLife achieves record-breaking Q2 2013 performance
CryoLife has achieved a record-breaking financial performance during the second quarter and first half of 2013.
The company's revenues for Q2 2013 increased by one percent year on year to a record figure of $33.5 million (21.74 million pounds), bringing its total for the first six months of the year to a best-ever $69.1 million.
During the last three months, CryoLife's product revenues increased by nine percent, with double-digit improvements seen for PerClot and its portfolio of revascularisation technologies.
The firm is also progressing well with the market rollout of the HeRO (Hemodialysis Reliable Outflow) Graft system, which was approved for sale in Europe last month.
As such, CryoLife was able to balance out the more difficult trading conditions experienced by its BioGlue brand and tissue preservation segment.
Steven Anderson, president and chief executive officer of CryoLife, said: "We remain well-positioned to continue growing our product segment, which will support stronger cash flow generation and profitability."
