Sirona launches inEos X5 extraoral dental scanner
Sirona Dental Systems has announced the launch of its innovative and versatile new inEos X5 CAD/CAM extraoral scanner.
The new system can be used to scan impressions and models of all or part of the jaw manually or automatically, offering flexibility and making it easier for dental technicians to optimally integrate the scanning process into their individual workflows.
Its advanced camera features a rapid scanning speed, a large image field and an entirely new optical system, while its five-axis technology – including rotation arm and intelligent scan planning – helps to position and capture models with all indications automatically.
Sirona said: "The latest technology, an extensive set of functions and a broad range of indications at an attractive price – that is what Sirona offers its customers with the new inEos X5 extraoral scanner."
This comes after the firm's Cerec Omnicam was recently presented with the title of most innovative product at the recent Clinical Innovations Conference, which took place in London earlier this year.
