Procter and Gamble provides grant to World Dental Posters
Procter and Gamble has announced that it will be providing an educational grant to World Dental Posters, the open-access scientific site run by Stephen Hancocks Limited.
Launched in March 2013, the site provides researchers with a freely-accessible way to upload their peer-reviewed posters at no cost for as long as they wish, offering another channel through which to share clinically relevant information.
Posters on the site are indexed by title, author names and keywords, with planned future developments including forum and discussion areas to help connect researchers with similar interests and ideas.
Dr Leslie Winston of Procter and Gamble's global oral care professional and scientific relations division, said the grant will help "young and innovative researchers in the field of oral health to disseminate their findings and discover others working in similar areas".
Procter and Gamble is responsible for some of the world's leading dental brands, including Oral-B and Crest, and is committed to supporting new innovations in the field.
