Autoscribe launches Adhoc data entry tool for Matrix Gemini
Autoscribe has announced the introduction of an Adhoc data entry facility into its Matrix Gemini laboratory information management system (LIMS) to expand its versatility and range of uses.
Although typically tests built within a LIMS define specific components in advance, it is often necessary to capture results for unexpected or unplanned items of interest that may occur during the testing process, particularly when carrying out chromatographic tests.
The Adhoc data entry option facilitates this, allowing unplanned results to be recorded in any area of the standard result entry grid without prior definition of the results during setup.
Autoscribe will be making this new function available both to existing users of the system and new customers.
Founder and chief executive officer John Boother said: "The Adhoc data entry capability is the latest example of Autoscribe's policy of continually improving its software and supporting customers with these developments."
This new feature, when combined with the LIMS' existing flexible frequency testing tools, helps to ensure that adaptive and versatile testing regimes can be accommodated by Matrix Gemini.
