EKF Diagnostics to hold new Master Class in Mexico

EKF Diagnostics has highlighted the success of its 2013 Master Class Series, while announcing that the next event in the programme will take place next month.

The training initiative sees EKF experts travelling the world to provide customers with a comprehensive understanding of its range of blood analysers and the conditions they can be used to diagnose and monitor, including diabetes and anaemia.

Following well-attended events in London, Dubai and China, the next dates on the calendar will be in Mexico City on October 3rd and 4th, with products such as Hemo Control, Biosen, Lactate Scout and the new Quo-Lab HbA1c analyser to be showcased.

Delegates have found the previous meetings to be extremely useful, with EKF experts having travelled in excess of 80,000 miles to attend the events so far.

Gavin Jones, a product manager at EKF Diagnostics, said: "The direct interaction with customers that our Master Class Series provides is invaluable, not only in terms of us imparting knowledge to customers, but also securing insights into how our products function in the field."

Last month, the firm announced the European launch of its new STAT-Site M Beta-HB test, which is intended for use in assessing diabetic ketoacidosis.
