Bite Communications director leaves company
Bite Communications has confirmed that director Jessica Rowntree, a PR industry veteran, has departed the company.
Ms Rowntree had been with the agency for two and a half years, having been appointed to Bite's UK board in May 2011, and worked on key technology sector accounts such as Microsoft.
She joined Bite from Porter Novelli, where she was technology director and worked with clients including Hitachi Global Storage, BT, Clickfree, LANDesk and MOFILM, while prior to this she spent eight years at Chocolate Communications and three at Grant Butler Coomber.
The technology leadership role that she vacated has since been filled by the former Hill and Knowlton Strategies managing director Grant Currie, who joined the agency last month.
With operations in Europe, North America and Asia Pacific, Bite is a leading PR agency that employs more than 300 people across 15 offices.
Its client roster includes companies such as Citi, HTC, Dell, Siemens, Nokia, Adobe and Mozilla.
