Steris showcases new innovations at OR Manager Conference

Steris has demonstrated a number of new products and solutions aimed at operating room managers at the recent OR Manager Conference event in Maryland.

The company attended the National Harbor convention from September 23rd to 25th 2013, where it showcased various perioperative workflow efficiency tools and product design management solutions.

Among them was the RealView Visual Workflow Management Software, a productivity tool that facilitates the management of the entire perioperative environment, as well as the CS-iQ Sterile Processing Workflow Management visual dashboard system.

It also demonstrated the SAFE Situational Awareness for Everyone Display, which provides a centralised source of real-time patient data collected from disparate hospital sources.

Jason Deeken, senior director of marketing, integration and perioperative at Steris, said: "The advances we've made in developing these workflow improvement tools comprehensively address the needs of today's busy perioperative environments."

Last month, the company announced its financial results for the first quarter of its 2014 fiscal year, during which it experienced a nine percent year-on-year increase in revenues.
