Starscream Communications launched by tech journo Richard Melville

9th October 2013

A new London-based boutique tech PR agency called Starscream Communications has been launched by the acclaimed journalist Richard Melville.

Mr Melville has been writing since 1998 for publications such as MSN, MailOnline, Yahoo, Wired, T3, the Sunday Times, ShortList and Metro, while he has also edited What Hi-Fi? Sound and Vision magazine and produced European consumer website projects for Nokia and Vodafone.

The new agency has already signed up its first two clients – Audio-Technica, the largest headphone brand in Japan, and the London-based luxury audio shop Audio Lounge.

Starscream Communications will be tasked with raising awareness of the products and services offered by both of these organisations.

Mr Melville told Gorkana that he will be working to help Audio-Technica "gain the media footprint the brand deserves", while highlighting the fact that Audio Lounge "takes high-quality audio seriously and puts it in a stylish setting".

Starscream Communications aims to take advantage of its wide range of contacts, established media relationships and understanding of compelling narratives to provide value for clients.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-801647483-ADNFCR
