Dental Hygiene and Therapy Awards confirmed for 2016 return

The organisers of the Dental Hygiene and Therapy Awards have confirmed that they will be taking place again in February next year.

To be held for a fourth year on February 5th 2016 at the Radisson Blu in London, the event is designed to recognise individuals working in the profession, with leading industry brands such as iTop and Oral-B already confirmed to act as sponsors.

Prospective nominees are invited to submit a written application explaining their case for recognition, with entries to be accepted between now and October 2nd 2015.

Categories include best therapist/hygienist, with a separate category for younger entrants under the age of 30,  as well as best patient care, best preventive practice, best child-friendly practice, best treatment of nervous patients and best healthcare scheme.

The winner of the overall prize for dental hygienist or therapist of the year will be selected from entrants from the other categories based on criteria such as evidence of hard work, patient testimonials and community engagement.
