CareFusion to launch Rowa Smart System storage device for pharmacies

CareFusion has introduced a new stock storage solution designed to offer benefits for small and medium-sized retail pharmacies that serve up to 200 customers a day.

The new Rowa Smart System is based on the same technology as the successful Rowa Vmax device and combines automated, standardised performance with a competitive value offering.

It offers storage capacity for up to 9,000 packages with a footprint of only 7.3 sq metres, meaning smaller organisations can benefit from the advantages of automated storage without taking up too much space.

Dr Christian Klas, executive director of CareFusion Rowa Technologies, said the new unit has been designed specifically to cater to the needs of pharmacies that have not been able to use automated solutions in the past.

"With the Rowa Smart System, these pharmacies will receive complete, well-engineered and tried-and-tested technology at an extremely attractive price," he said.

Last month, the company announced the launch of the ReVel emergency transport ventilator, a device designed to facilitate medical care during emergency transportation.
