Escapade PR completes management buyout to become independent from CCgroup

Escapade PR has announced the completion of a management buyout that will allow the agency to operate as an independently-owned enterprise.

The agency was previously owned by CCgroup, but has now separated following a buyout led by managing director Lynne Goddard and associate director Rhianon Williams. Its existing account team will transfer across as part of the deal.

Under the agency's new leadership structure, Ms Williams will move into the role of director, while Charlotte Davies and Louise Stevens will join the firm in the roles of PR assistant and accounts manager, respectively.

Escapade PR will continue to operate from its office in Reading, serving clients in the consumer technology, lifestyle, food and drink, and health and wellbeing markets.

Ms Goddard said: "Our decision to invest in the company not only reflects our passion for the company, and the clients we work with, but also our commitment to making the next part of our own journey and Escapade a huge success."

The agency is marking its tenth anniversary this summer.
