Role Overview

You will sell Chromatography consumables and colums to academic, research and pharmaceutical laboratories across Scotland.

Role Requirements

Selling full suite of chromatography consumable products (LC and GC colums and sample prep).

Establish business relationships with customers within a variety of markets – provide follow up on leads and inquiries generated by ad campaigns, exhibits, and phone contacts.

Generate and execute a business plan that include maintaining the customer base and managing mailing lists and survey forms for customers.

Contact and visit selected customers to demonstrate products, answer questions and troubleshoot issues.

Identify new product opportunities and interface with prospective customers.

Organize technical seminars for direct accounts.

Person Specifications

Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related science

Minimum of 1-2 years post-degree experience in scientific sales

Exceptional written and oral communication skills, including ability to make presentations

Ability to work well with others in a team environment

Package

Commission Scheme – around £9,500

Company Car

20 days annual leave (plus additional days for Christmas shutdown and 8 days Bank Holidays) after 5 years it goes up to 25 days

£50 Allowance towards a gym or sports membership
