Domaines Publics acquired by MSL

22nd June 2018

French public affairs firm Domaines Publics has been acquired by MSL, and will be incorporated into MSL’s PR business in France, Publicis Consultants, which has 175 employees.
Domaines Publics was established in 2004 by Jean-Michel Arnaud and Steven Zunz. Mr Arnaud began his career at McKinsey and is a foreign trade advisor to the French government. Mr Zunz was a parliamentary attaché for numerous elected officials, and this year wrote the book ‘France for sale? Put an end to the fear of foreign investments’. Both Mr Arnaud, and Mr Zunz will become vice presidents of the company, together with Catherine Gros. They will work under Clément Léonarduzzi, executive chairman of Publicis Consultants, who took up that role eight months ago following the acquisition of his 12-person firm.
Domaines Publics has 20 full time employees, names Engie, Bouygues, Suez, Sodexo and Carrefour as major clients, and revenue last year was €6.4m.
MSL global CEO Guillaume Herbette said: “MSL continues to deepen our expertise around the world, particularly in core global practice areas like public affairs that are essential to providing influence and building impact for our clients locally and globally.”
