Virbac launches longer lasting facial pheromone diffuser

Virbac is a family run global company which has been in the animal health industry for 50 years, focussing exclusively on animal health. They have launched a new product called Zenifel, a feline facial pheromone plug-in diffuser for use in the home to help control inappropriate or stress related behaviours in cats. F3 is a calming pheromone, so this product is designed, in the words of Virbec, to create a state of relaxation and “familiarity and security in the cat’s surroundings, reducing or potentially eliminating those stress-related behaviours”.
Zenifel containing 48ml of the same pheromone that is already the best seller on the market. The difference with Zenifel is that its vials can last for up to six weeks, which is about 50% longer than the market leader, because it has a higher concentration of facial F3 pheromone and an innovative diffusion system. This makes Virbac’s product economical to use and more environmentally friendly when using continuously in the home. There will be a practice support pack so veterinary clinics can create a calm environment for cats and help owners understand the benefits of pheromones for their pets, as well as promotional offers.
