Microsoft and Walgreens collaborate on innovative healthcare delivery.

A new strategic partnership between Walgreens Boots Alliance Inc. and Microsoft Corp is in place to develop new health care delivery models, technology and retail innovations to advance and improve the future of health care. The companies will pool WBA’s convenient locations, outpatient health care services and industry expertise with Microsoft’s cloud and AI platform Microsoft Azure and healthcare investments to deliver a personal, affordable, accessible healthcare system, and innovative platforms that enable next-generation health networks, integrated digital-physical experiences and care management solutions.
