Walgreens Boots Alliance 2018 CSR Report

Walgreens Boots Alliance has published its 2018 Corporate Social Responsibility Report which focuses on global sustainability initiatives to prevent opioid abuse, support cancer patients and address malnutrition, as well as access to and the affordability of health care initiatives. The company has partnered Vitamin Angels to help provide life-changing vitamins and minerals to over 160 million women and children, and also partnered the UN Foundation to provide over 34 million lifesaving vaccines to children in the developing world. Walgreens have established a new partnership with The Prince’s Trust to increase employment opportunities for young people across the UK, by supporting them to develop skills for the workplace and by providing in-store opportunities.
